Some roles are ongoing, while others are focused on the event itself, but every position plays a part in making the rodeo successful.
There are several ways to be involved with the Gold Rush Rodeo, including committee roles, arena positions, media coverage, general staff, and volunteers. The Rodeo Committee helps with planning, logistics, sponsorship coordination, and overall event operations. Committee members work directly with rodeo directors and assist throughout the year leading up to the event.
The announcer plays a major role in the flow of the rodeo and the overall experience for fans. We're looking for individuals who are comfortable on the mic and familiar with rodeo events.
Judges are responsible for scoring and ensuring fair competition. Prior judging experience and knowledge of rodeo rules are required.
We're looking for photographers and videographers to help capture the rodeo booth in and out of the arena. This includes action shots, behind-the-scenes moments, and promotional content.
This Application is for anyone interested in helping during rodeo weekend. Positions may include gate operations, ticketing, parking, hospitality, and general event support. No prior rodeo experience is required for most roles.
The Gold Rush Rodeo After-party is an extension of the rodeo experience and a chance for competitors, locals, and visitors to stick around and enjoy the evening. We're looking for bands, musicians, DJs, or entertainers interested in providing live entertainment following the rodeo.
